Summary
CoComposer.ai does not require an account. The AI model runs on your device. We do not receive your songs, recordings, MIDI files, generated takes, or audio during normal app use.
The main exception is optional feedback: if you choose to rate or share an AI take, the app will warn you first and may send anonymous MIDI data and generation settings so we can improve the model.
What stays on your device
Your songs, human takes, AI takes, local edits, imported MIDI files, exported MIDI files, selected instruments, and app settings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, or submit feedback.
CoComposer.ai is designed for piano composition. If you use acoustic piano recording, microphone audio is processed on your device for transcription and is not sent to our servers for music generation.
Optional feedback
If you choose to like or dislike an AI take, CoComposer.ai may send the human MIDI prompt, the AI-generated MIDI take, your like/dislike choice, model name, generation settings, app version, and an anonymous device identifier.
This feedback is used to diagnose model behavior, improve future versions, and understand which musical continuations are useful to musicians. It does not include your name, email address, or audio.
Contact form
If you contact us through the website, we collect the name you provide, your email address, your message, your IP address, and basic browser information so we can respond and reduce abuse.
The contact form uses hCaptcha to protect the website from spam. hCaptcha may process browser and network information according to its own privacy policy.
Downloads and website logs
If the app downloads an optional piano instrument or you visit cocomposer.ai, the server may record standard request logs such as IP address, request path, user agent, timestamp, and response status.
These logs are used for security, reliability, troubleshooting, and bandwidth monitoring.
No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your musical ideas for advertising profiles. We do not train third-party music generators with your private local songs.
Data retention
Contact messages may be kept as long as needed to respond and maintain support history. Anonymous feedback may be retained to improve the model and compare model versions over time.
Because feedback is designed to be anonymous, we may not always be able to connect old feedback to a specific person unless you provide enough identifying information for us to locate it.
Your choices
You can use CoComposer.ai without submitting feedback. You can delete songs and takes inside the app. You can choose whether to download optional instruments. You can export MIDI only when you decide to share it.
